Ballina to have two Santas

BALLINA will this year have not one, but two Santas - one at each of the two main shopping centre.

The duelling Santas will be at Ballina Central and Ballina Fair.

Santa will visit Ballina Central on Saturday, December 8, at 10am for photos with kids, and to hear them make their Christmas wishes.

Across the road at Ballina Fair, Santa has been in residence since last Saturday.

The Ballina Central Santa will arrive in a big red fire truck on December 8 and then parade from the Dick Smith entrance to Ballina Central, and continue through the centre.

Kids are encouraged to bring along their own special welcome sign.

As well as Santa arriving, the morning will be packed with entertainment, including Rudolf the Christmas Reindeer, free face painting and balloons.

Santa will be in residence at Ballina Central from 10am-noon and from 1-3pm daily from December 8 to December 24.

At Ballina Fair, Santa will be in residence right through until December 24 for photos and to hear Christmas wish requests.

He will be seated outside Woolworths from Monday to Sunday, 10.30am-3pm. And for two Thursdays, December 13 and 20, he will be at Ballina Fair from 10.30am-6pm.
