Chamber wants to hear from flood affected businesses

THE Tweed's three chambers of commerce want to hear from businesses in the area about how ex-cyclone Oswald impacted them.

The Tweed Council is preparing an impact statement which will outline the extent of the disaster and will support access to national disaster assistance.

This assessment will give the Tweed a better opportunity to receive adequate funding.

The chambers of commerce have joined forces and want businesses that have experienced damage, disruption to business and loss of resources to provide a short outline of how they have been affected.

The outline should be sent to the chamber that services the area where the business operates.
