SANTA is coming to Coolangatta and he is bringing a present of great entertainment to welcome the festive season.

On December 16 the Coolangatta Christmas Concert will kick off with 90 minutes of free entertainment.

Organiser Louise Bezzina said fantastic talents such as Nadia Sunde, Kacey Patrick, Michael Fox and stacks more would take to the stage.

"Last year there were over 5000 people," she said.

"If there's good weather, which there will be, who knows how many people will come."

The entertainment is only the start.

Santa will make an appearance for the little ones and a twilight arts and craft market will line the park.

Organisers are encouraging people to buy food from the local cafes and stores.

"There are stacks around," Ms Bezzina said.

"There's a lot of good will and generosity around the Christmas time of year."

Head to Queen Elizabeth Park, Coolangatta, from 5-7pm on December 16.
