WHEN it comes to weddings there are a million and one things to consider.

To avoid the stress-fest check out the Tweed Coast Wedding Expo on November 25.

The Tweed Civic Centre will be packed with a bunch of great exhibitors.

"We've got 45 exhibitors joining us on the day," Coastal Events organiser Kira Henzell said.

There will be a stall for everything you could possibly think of that relates to a weddings.

Mrs Henzell said everything from hair and make up to lingerie would be out to explore.

Newer bridal trend stalls such as photo booths and lolly buffets will also be available for couples to browse.

"We run the wedding expo twice a year and it just gives local businesses a chance to showcase what they have," Mrs Henzell said.

"It's also a good chance for people to come and see everything right there under the one roof."

Stall holder Mandy McShae from Silk Serenity said her home silk flower business would be there for the world to see.

"I have a lot of brides coming up to me and want to know more about the (silk) flowers," she said.

"They don't wilt, that's why they're so interested.

"I've even had brides come to me and order one year in advance for their flowers."

The is on next Sunday, November 25, from 10am until 1.30pm.

At 11am there will be a bridal fashion parade and throughout the day $4000 worth of prize packs will be given away.
