HARRY Potter never had it this good.

Jars of assorted cookies, coffee, burgers and cakes all under the stairs. Potter Coffee is unique.

The little coffee shop sits under the stairs at the Day Surgery Centre in Boyd St.

With all the little touches like Harry Potter glasses and brooms, the under-the-stair cafe is a welcome sight for people who might have fasted for their blood tests or x-rays.

"It's a cute concept," said owner Rowena Coleman.

"I couldn't resist buying the coffee shop, having worked in it for a while.

"My daughter Kimberly calls me Mrs Potter."

It also takes the monotony out of waiting for an appointment.

When you can get good wholesome food as well as a great cup of coffee, it's worth a visit, even if you are not attending a surgery, pathology or radiography service.

With the RSPCA Opp Shop just two doors away, a shopping and coffee expedition is certainly on the cards.Come and experience a touch of Harry Potter and some delicious food and beverages without the risk of meeting he who shall not be named.Potter Coffee, under the stairs at the Tweed Day Surgery, Boyd Street.

Altogether just too tempting
