The year ahead is looking good for netball on the Tweed.

Our 2013 season will certainly be exciting and jam-packed with competitions, carnivals, clinics, education of our umpires and players as well as the redevelopment of our facilities and to top it all off we are honoured to host the 2013 State Challenge Championships in June.

Here are some dates for you all to put into your calendars:

Monday Night sign-on: Monday night competition for ladies and mixed (14 years and over) at our clubhouse on Monday from 6-7pm (all times are NSW).

Saturday competition sign-on: Saturday, February 23. All clubs have been allocated a time to register their teams. Please ensure that you are aware of the times allocated.

Meeting: First general meeting will be held at the clubhouse on Wednesday, February 20 from 7pm. All clubs/individual teams to attend.

We have several upcoming clinics:

1. Foundation Coaching Clinic to be held at Tweed on Saturday, Feb 23 from 9am-1pm. All participants must have completed their beginning coaching general principles on line and must be over the age of 14 and registered with Netball Queensland.

2. Level 1 Umpies Course at Tweed on Saturday, March 2 (9am-1pm). As with the foundation coaching clinic you will need to register via the Netball Queensland website and have completed the on-line umpire exam.

3. Golden South Rep Clinic - to be held at Tweed on the February 9from 9.30 to 12.30 (NSW) $25 per person (all Tweed Rep Players will be subsidised by our Association). Excellent start to the Rep Season with Coach Paula Stuart as well as Assistant coaches and GCC Athletes putting our rep stars through drills and skills and training.

WE are proud to have representing us in 2013 a huge list of talented representative players.

We are also extremely lucky to have a great line-up of coaches to look after our teams this year and produce the best from these talented players included in our 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, 16s and our Premier League squads.
