DIEHARD Twilight fans made their way to Tweed City Hoyts to catch the latest part of the vampire love story saga on Thursday morning.

Today My Daily News tracked down a few fans and the verdict is out; everyone thinks the movie was a big hit.

Tweed Shire duo Tim Morrissey and Tim Jasprizza, both who have read the four-book series, said they loved the second Breaking Dawn film.

"It was such a good movie," Mr Morrissey said.

How do you rate Breaking Dawn Part 2 out of five?

This poll ended on 21 November 2012.

1 star - 50%

2 stars - 0%

3 stars - 50%

4 stars - 0%

5 stars - 0%

This is not a scientific poll. The results reflect only the opinions of those who chose to participate.

"It's a bit of a love story, which is really fun.

"I think they did the movie really closely to the book."

Mr Jasprizza agreed and said Breaking Dawn part 2 was his favourite out of the five movies.

Tweed woman Jo Datson said she and her two daughters had eagerly waited to see the flick.

"It was excellent," she said.

"We've seen them all and it was really good."

Her daughter Penny, who had read the books, said she thought the on screen version was a close match to the book.

"It was awesome and a really good finish," she said.

"The twist was as good as in the book."

The fifth and final movie divulges into Bella Cullen (Kristen Stewart) transformation into a vampire and the birth of her magical daughter Renesmee, who is half human half vampire.

Tens of thousands of fans flocked to cinemas around the country last night to be the first to see the popular movie at 12am screenings.

Advanced ticket sales for the final chapter saw more than 10,000 tickets sold.
