PRE SCHOOL is a very important part of a child's socialisation process.

Would you like your child to develop independence, confidence, a strong sense of identity and enthusiasm for learning?

Then Chillingham and Tyalgum Preschool is the place for your preschooler to be.

"We have plenty of up-to-date equipment and offer experiences in early computer literacy," spokesperson for the school Rosemary Hume said.

"In addition we have yoga, gardening, local excursions and daily music sessions.

"We follow the government mandatory Early Years Learning Framework with all children treated as individuals and experiences based on their needs and interests.

"All permanent staff have qualifications in early childhood education, including two degree qualified teachers.

"We are also licensed to enrol two- year- olds and non-toilet trained children."

Affordable fee rates range from $12 to $23 per day dependent on income.

"This year we are holding personal orientation sessions over two weeks to suit families' needs," Ms Hume said.

They will be on Monday November 19 and 26, Tuesday November 20 and 27 at Tyalgum Preschool.

For the Chillingham pre school, orientation days will be Wednesday November 21 and 28, Thursday November 22nd and 29.

During these sessions you are invited to look over the preschool and talk to staff while your child plays.

Enrolment forms may then be filled in if you wish.

"We would prefer a phone call so that a suitable time slot can be arranged," Ms Hume said.

At Tyalgum please to Tracey on 02 66793434 and at Chillingham speak to Rosemary on 02 66791448.
