ALL she wanted for her 14th birthday was for people to start thinking about their choices on this earth.

We are all still working on that but one thing Terri Irwin could get for her daughter was a pair of new boots.

Khaki fold-down ankle boots, perfect for feeding crocs and completing zoo duties but decked out with studs and dark rhinestones, perfect for a teenage girl wanting to show some flair.

"They were a present from my mum, love my mum," she said when asked about them.

The Wildlife Warrior commanded a celebrity reception as she arrived in a stretch Hummer to walk the "pink cammo carpet" at her boot camp themed birthday bash at Australia Zoo.

Accompanied by Terri and a beaming younger brother Robert, the three signed autographs and posed for photos with the crowd of fans that gathered to catch a glimpse of their idol.

Bindi explained the reason behind her choice of boot camp theme was partly due to her latest Bootcamp TV series and partly it was who she is.

"Khaki is more than just a colour, it is an attitude," she said.

"It was my dad's signature colour and I'm carrying on his legacy."

Mum Terri Irwin beamed throughout and could not be prouder of her teenage daughter.

"Bindi you are so beautiful. You are so much like your dad.

"He used to say 'I have a bad head' but somehow you are just like Steve but yet very, very beautiful," Terri said.

Margie Cummins, who took out the title of the 2012 season of Biggest Loser, was one Bindi's special guests to help her celebrate her special day.

"I have to contain my excitement. I'm just like a little kid. She's turned into a young lady overnight. She's just gorgeous," she said.

Also on hand to celebrate the day was the Jabbawockeez, the hip-hop dance crew, which won the first season of America's Best Dance Crew.

The group, who are big fans of the Irwins, performed in the Crocoseum before Bindi fed the crocs and cut her cake.
