BRAY Park could be easily overlooked as a suburb of Murwillumbah.
It forms the buffer zone between town and country and at first glance is not your ideal holiday destination.
But oh what secrets it holds.
"I make the trip to Bray Park for my bread," said Commissioners Creek resident Peter Arnold.
"It's the best bread in the district."
The little village has everything you could need, with a garage, bottle shop, store, flower shop and a terrific deli-cafe.
"There aren't too many places you can get everything you want without driving into town and hunting for parking spots," Mr Arnold said.
Bray Park is surrounded by green fields and has a magnificent view of Mount warning.
The Show and Shine deli-cafe is a hub for locals and tourists.
Selling everything from mango chutney to the best home made pies, ice cream and coffee, owners Trisha and Mark Fendley have created a haven.
Built from scratch, the shop has the "wow" factor when it comes to food.
"It keeps us out of trouble," Mrs Fendley said.
