THIS Sunday  Kirra Sports Club is throwing its Inaugural Christmas in July fun day for kids of all ages.

Held at the Club, the family fun day will include Magic Mike the magician, Peppa Pig and Sponge Bob Squarepants, and a jumping castle.

The AFL juniors club is putting on a sausage sizzle as well with much needed funds going straight back to all the junior teams.

Also on the bill, is face painting and a bunch of very cute barnyard babies who are sure to put smiles on the faces of kids.

What would Christmas in July be without Santa himself, who will come all the way from the North Pole to say hello and take orders for his main present run in December.

Di Anderson and daughter Mia are excited about the weekend's event and hope for a big crowd come Sunday

"If it is a success we intend on having it every year, our other events have been a great success so there is no reason this will be any different," Mrs Anderson said.

All parents and kids are welcome to come along and enjoy the activities on Sunday. Kirra Sports Club is located at 22 Appel St. Festivities kick off at 11am.
