COOLANGATTA Surfer Quinn Bruce's run of good results continued over the weekend at the Australian Pro Junior Championships in Coffs Harbour.

Considering Bruce just turned 15, he did extremely well in posting the highest heat total of the entire event, outscoring all of his older opponents including Lennox Head's Mickey Wright, on his way to making it to the round of 16.

Last weekend Bruce narrowly missed out on taking out the Skull Candy Oz grom comp at Lennox Beach, finishing second in the U16 division, weeks before he made the final of the Occy grom comp at Duranbah Beach.

Mr Quinn was the only grom to make both finals, with another year left in the under 16 division he is sure to have a win in the near future, most recently coming back from Nicaragua with a Gold Medal after representing Australia.
