Drug bust uncovers hydro lab

A POLICE raid in Currumbin Valley on Thursday led to the discovery of cannabis plants in hydroponic set ups.

Police searched the Estelle Rd address about 9.30am where two hydroponics set ups containing cannabis plants and an unregistered firearm were discovered.

A 36-year-old Currumbin Waters man will face Southport Magistrates Court on August 8 on two charges relating to drug possession and production.
