ROCKHAMPTON'S Betty Tuckwood spotted this dog taking a ride on a truck's fuel tank as the big vehicle travelled along Albert St last week.

"I wondered if he was hitch hiking or did he belong to the truckie?" Betty said.

She said the dog didn't appear to be tied on.

"He seemed pretty comfortable," Betty said.

Betty said she saw plenty of strange things happening on the region's roads, but often she wasn't quick enough to get a picture.
