WET weather has caused the postponement of a ceremony to celebrate the start construction of the $8 million Sir Earle Page Library in Grafton tomorrow.

An official event involving special guests and an Aboriginal smoking ceremony was planned, but has been put off to a date to be fixed, said Clarence Valley Mayor Richie Williamson.
