Today's Daily News has a lights maps so you can find the best lights in the region.

Heather Aspery, of Tweed Heads South, has been hanging lights at Christmas for the past 15 years and hoped to be doing it for another decade.

"The kids love it and I love Christmas," Mrs Aspery said.

"It all started when my daughter-in-law bought me a Santa for the garden.

"I went crazy.

"I still have that Santa but it is getting a bit old and sun damaged."
