COLOURED pants will be all the rage in Murwillumbah when a golfing event called the Loudmouth Challenge hits the course.

More than 60 golf lovers will participate in the event to raise money for the Murwillumbah Hospital.

"Normal golf events are quite boring," Loudmouth Challenge golf professional Colin Edwards said.

"But this is something completely different.

"The atmosphere and vibe makes it really quite different.

"It's so much fun."

Loudmouth is a brand of clothing made famous by American gold pro John Daly.

The pants are flamboyant and wild, not something one is use to seeing on the course.

Keen participants will kick off the game at 12pm with a shot-gun start at the Murwillumbah course.

"It's all about getting dressed up and having a bit of fun," Mr Edwards said.

Tomorrow is the last day to enter the competition.

Contact Julie Edwards on 0427 765 623 for your chance to be in it.

There are stacks of prizes and Mr Edwards said he hoped the event would be come an annual tradition.
