INITIAL reports of a man found dead on the beach at Palm Beach are coming from Queensland Police.

A spokesman said police were called shortly before 6am after which the body was located.

"This is not being treated as suspicious," he said.

Police and the Queensland Ambulance Service could not provide further details.
