OUR first meeting for the year will now take place this Wednesday from 7pm after last week's postponement.

All teams are reminded they must have a delegate present.

If there is anyone who might like to still sign on to one of our clubs contact us via email on tweed@mynetball.asn.au.

Any senior players looking to join the Cudgen club can contact Cudgen's registrar Kelly Patterson on 0413 886 334.

Sadly, due to lack of numbers, today's Foundation Coaching course has been cancelled.

It was disappointing we could not get the numbers because to host this course in our own backyard was a great opportunity for our up and coming coaches.

If anyone is interested we direct you to the Netball Queensland website, which will advise of any upcoming coaching courses within the region.

Best of luck to the Golden South Jags who open their season today from 5pm Queensland time, when they take on the Brisbane North Cougars at the Beenleigh Sports Arena.

These games are exciting to watch so get along and support the Jags.

The Golden South Junior Jags trials will be held on March 3 at St Hilda's from 3pm (Queensland) for all players aged 13-14 years.

To nominate visit the Golden South website on goldensouth.netball.asn.au.

Tweed will host their information day on March 2 with the grading trials to be held on March 9.

We thank all who have nominated to assist with the organisation of the Challenge Carnival to be held at Tweed in June.

If we have any electricians within our association family who would like to assist prior to and over the weekend carnival please contact our Challenge organiser Tracy MacKenzie on 0401 904 876.

Our Monday night round two was postponed last week and hopefully the weather will clear in time to head into round three.
