NEW SPOT: Ballina Rotarians Bruce Bevan and John Anderssen at the Southern Cross Industrial Estate business directory in its new location on North Creek Rd, Ballina.

SOMETIMES it can be tricky to find businesses in industrial estates, but the Rotary Club of Ballina has made that job easier.

The club a few years ago put up a business directory for the Southern Cross Industrial Estate on Southern Cross Dr.

But now the main entrance to the estate is via the new roundabout at the intersection of North Creek Rd and Tamarind Dr, the Rotary club has moved the sign.

It now sits next to the Ballina Bridge Club.

Rotarian John Anderssen said the sign helped participating businesses in the Southern Cross industrial area "establish or improve both their visibility and viability".

In the new year, Ballina Rotarians will be calling on local businesses asking for support in having their details/logos prominently displayed on the business directory in exchange for a small annual rental fee.

Any inquiries, please phone Bruce Bevan on 6681 3783.

Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Ballina will hold a Bookfest in Ballina's CBD in the week starting January 14. Anyone wishing to donate books to the sale can drop them in at Sidney and Richardson plumbers in Bentinck St, Ballina, Colour Copy shop in Moon St or Wallace's in River St.
