BRADFORD City manager Phil Parkinson says Aston Villa is still favourite to make the Capital One League Cup final despite his team taking a 3-1 first-leg lead at Valley Parade.

With Australian 19-year-old Curtis Good, one of the stars for the League Two side, Bradford stunned the Premier League outfit with goals from Nahki Wells, Rory McArdle and Carl McHugh.

In the first half Matt Duke produced a string of outstanding saves to keep Villa, and Christian Benteke, at bay before the home side gained control.

But Andreas Weimann gave Villa some hope with an away goal which Parkinson says gives them the edge.

"We know we have got a tough job," the Bantams boss said.

"They're still the favourites. But we will go to Villa Park in two weeks and really enjoy the occasion. If Villa gets to Wembley they would have had to have earned it."

Bradford or Villa will meet the winner of the other two-legged semi final between Chelsea and Swansea who played their first-leg at Stamford Bridge overnight.
