LIVERPOOL manager Brendan Rodgers said Luis Suarez's matchwinner against non-league Mansfield Town should have been ruled out for handball, but defended his frontman after the 2-1 FA Cup win at One Call Stadium.

Liverpool set up a fourth-round clash with Oldham Athletic, but not before the non-league side gave the EPL outfit a scare with a late flourish.

Daniel Sturridge scored seven minutes into his debut, before Uruguayan Suarez scored his controversial goal after coming on as a substitute.

Matt Green replied for the home team to set up a tense finish.

In Sunday's other tie, Arsenal and Swansea played out a thrilling 2-2 draw and will have to replay at the Emirates Stadium to see who takes on surprise packet Brighton which knocked out Newcastle in round three.

In the fourth-round draw, non-league Luton was rewarded for its 1-0 victory over Wolves with a trip to Premier League side Norwich.

Holders Chelsea travel to League One Brentford or League Two Southend.

Crystal Palace will play Stoke or Manchester City.
