SENIORS' Week is gearing up to be a jam-packed series of events.

Tweed Shire Senior Citizens Committee is in the process of compiling a program of events for the week running from March 17-25.

With bus trips, concerts, information sessions and workshops on the agenda, the week will kick off with the opening ceremony at Banora Point Community Centre.

Local artist Lachlan Wallace is the feature entertainment for the afternoon and there will be a twist of Irish for St Patrick's Day.

Do you have a Redi-Plan - Red Cross are holding information sessions where participants will receive information needed to cope with emergencies such as fire and flood.
