USUALLY The Umbilical Brothers are full of confidence but in the lead up to their Twin Town Services Club show one half of the act is getting a case of nerves.
David Collins, or as some call him, the one with hair, said the majority of his family would be in the crowd for the first time.
"I'm s***ing myself," he said.
"My parents, brother, sister and all their kids will be there.
"I'm excited and can't wait but I'm also really nervous."
Nerves are a rare feeling for the comedic duo, made up of Collins and Shane Dundas, to experience considering they have been on stage for more than 20 years.
In their two decades in the spotlight they have performed all over the world, just recently they retuned from a 22-day European tour.
The Umbilical Brothers have performed in front of huge crowds which have included the Queen.
"The Duke said she p***ed herself," Collin said.
They're happy to be back in the land of Oz and are looking forward to the gig.
"We don't have to watch our vocab," he said.
"And it's just much more relaxed."
It has been some time since the pair has performed at Twin Towns.
"We were there years ago before they re-jigged it," Dundas said.
"The vibe at a place like Twin Towns is interactive and we're looking forward to it."
The duo will perform their classic skit Don't Explain which is a regular on their international tours.
"Ultimately it's a good show," Dundas said.
"We even have an understanding in Japan."
Make sure to keep an eye out for the skilled martial art skit, the Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation and Collins' high pitched ballad.
Tickets are $39 and can be purchased online at twintowns.com.au or by calling 1800 014 014.
The show starts at 9pm DST (8pm Qld).
