Pendant for most elegant lady

IT is not all about business at the BEX Awards. One lucky lady will walk out of the Tweed Business Excellence Awards this Friday with an $1800 piece of jewellery thanks to Anderson's Treasure Store in Murwillumbah.

The most elegant lady at the awards ceremony will receive the handmade jewellery - a pendant set in a teardrop gold surround with a diamond set bail with a natural black Tahitian pearl sits at the bottom. Jeweller Peter Anderson crafted the pendant with apprentice Damen Boyd.

“It's a very wonderful prize for any lady to have,” Mr Anderson said.

BEX Awards co-ordinator Bob Robertson said naming of the most elegant lady is one of the most anticipated parts of the night.

“Judges will pick six ladies on the night who are eligible for the award and from them we will pick a winner,” Mr Robertson said.

The BEX Awards will be held at the Seagulls Stardust room.
