5 unique things to do in Kampot and Kep, Cambodia

YOUR STORY: Cambodia is one of those countries that a lot of Australians may not know much about.

Nestled between more popular Asian tourist destinations and ever-increasing in popularity Vietnam, Thailand is full of surprises and hidden gems.

Our Australian travel blog family has explored not only the hot spots of Cambodia, but also a few of those smaller and less visited places as well.

On our list of places to see, we ventured out to Kampot and Kep.

We had an awesome time exploring the countryside of both towns.

With so many incredible options of things do in Kampot and Kep, you can easily spend more than just a couple of days in the area.

As these two gorgeous, unique little towns are within a short distance (around 30 drive) from each other, it is easy to combine your excursions of what to see and do in Kampot and Kep, no matter where you are based.

We had the privilege of staying in both locations so got to explore the various attractions at our own pace.

What is very important to us is to travel responsibly and mindfully. When we go on holidays, we want to explore the villages, meet with the locals and support them as much as we can.

Education and personal development is our focus as well. This is not only important for us, but for our kids.
