Police strikeforce takes out another bikie club house

THE police strike force bringing down bikie gangs in NSW, claims to have dismantled another clubhouse on the Central Coast.

Weekend raids of a factory near Port Stephens, which police allege is the Great Lakes Comanchero clubhouse, are expected to lead to a number of arrests.

Inside the club house, detectives from Strike Force Raptor allegedly discovered a number of items which suggest members were involved in the illegal sale and supply of alcohol.

No-one was present during the search but a number of people will be interviewed in coming days.

The raids follow last week's operation targeting the Lake Macquarie chapter of the Life and Death bikie gang.

Port Stephens Local Area Commander, Superintendent Craig Rae said police would continue to work with the Gangs Squad to disrupt bikie activity in the region.

"It should come as a strong warning to all outlaw gang members who believe that they can flout the rules of society."

"Any such behaviour will not be tolerated and swift action will be taken by police."
