Snowden handed his third offer of asylum

AMERICAN fugitive Edward Snowden has been handed his third offer of asylum from a Latin American leader.

Bolivian President Evo Morales said he would be prepared to offer the intelligence leader Mr Snowden asylum if he asked for it, News Limited reports.

Venezuela and Nicaragua have also offered asylum to Mr Snowden, who is stranded at Moscow Airport.

Mr Snowden is wanted in the US on charges of espionage for leaking documents that detailed America's controversial surveillance programs.
