Whitlock through to World Darts semi-finals

AUSSIE Simon Whitlock held his nerve to reach the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship in London after beating Englishman Ian White 5-4 yesterday.

Whitlock led 4-1 before White fought back to level at 4-4. The Wizard then won the decider four legs to two.

He will play Scotland's Peter Wright tonight for a place in the final, which will take place on New Year's Day.
