A Christmas message from Tweed Police

MANY Tweed Police officers will be busy keeping crime in check over Christmas but that hasn't stopped them getting into the seasonal spirit.

Here's a Christmas message from the men and women of Tweed Byron LAC:

"Along with our emergency service partners the police at Tweed Byron Local Area Command will be working hard throughout the Christmas period helping keep the community safe and attending to those in need."

"We are very proud to service our communities, particularly at this time of year. Our police stations will be open both Christmas and Boxing Day.

"From all of us here we would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable festive season.

"Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year from all the staff at Tweed Byron Local Area Command."
