Man charged with bottle shop armed robbery to face court

A ROBINA man who used a hand gun to threaten and demand money at a bottle shop has been charged.

Today police will allege in Southport Court that a handgun was used to obtain money from console operator at the Ron Penhaligon Way business.

The 35-year-old gunman has been formally charged with armed robbery.

The bottle shop on Ron Penhaligon Way had a 41-year-old staff member behind the register.
