ABC host Kerry O’Brien under question for good cause
ABC TV journalist Kerry O'Brien will have the tables turned on him next month when he becomes the interviewee as part of a fundraiser for the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre.
Mr O'Brien, who has won six Walkley Awards including the coveted Gold Walkley, will be in the hot seat for the 'All you ever wanted to ask Kerry O'Brien' event on Friday, May 2 at the gallery.
He is a former editor and host of The 7.30 Report on ABC Television and hosts the current affairs show Four Corners.
He spends a lot of time in the Northern Rivers where he has a home.
The event will give guests the opportunity to ask questions of Mr O'Brien's career in a frank and open discussion, Friends of Tweed Regional Gallery president Lyn Stewart said.
"Having interviewed so many fascinating people on such a wide range of topics throughout his career, his answers are bound to be entertaining and informative," she said.
Cost is $40 per ticket, bookings to 07 5524 8815.
