All shook up: Female Elvis impersonator to play Tweed
FIRST and foremost she's an obsessed Elvis fan.
But Jacqueline Feilich was the first female Elvis impersonator in Australia.
It hasn't been an easy journey.
"But it's been worth it," she said.
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll Elvis-style.
Ms Feilich has fought against ridicule, but is now getting the last laugh as the crowds stream in to her performances.
"I couldn't have imagined seven years ago how well I'm doing," she said.
"Women come to me and say I've inspired them."
The dance floor is always packed when she performs.
"It's great to see people enjoy my performance and have a really good time," she said.
Ms Feilich will perform tonight at Twin Towns.
