Alpaca farms open

EVER wanted to pat a 'paca?

Well you can tick it off your bucket list this weekend with the beginning of National Alpaca Week.

Warrina Park Alpacas in Murwillumbah and Humminghills Alpacas in Carool will open their gates to the public so you can get up close and personal to our Peruvian friends.

Warrina Park owner Jan Chant assured us they don't spit if you're friendly.

Both farms will have both Huacaya and Suri (famous for their dreadlocks) breeds as well as crias (baby alpacas).

Humminghills Alpacas will be open both today and next Saturday.

Warrina Park at Murwillumbah will be open next Saturday only.
