Anthony has no plans to run

FORMER Richmond MP Larry Anthony won’t be among the people putting their hand up for a shot at wresting the seat back from Justine Elliot at this year’s federal election.

Mr Anthony, who considered a run at Page in 2007, said he had no plans for a return to politics – although he retained a keen interest, particularly in his home seat of Richmond.

“I worked hard (as a Federal MP) and I enjoyed it,” he said.

Mr Anthony said he wants a “quality” Nats replacement.
