Boney M disco fever hits Twin Towns

HAIRY chests and gold medallions are back in fashion at Twin Towns as the club hosts a week-long disco inferno.

Those who savour all things '70s will be right at home for the boogie fever that will culminate with shows by classic disco outfit Boney M, who will perform in the Showroom on Friday and Saturday nights.

"It's going to be a really fun '70s atmosphere every night at the club this week," said Twin Towns market- ing co-ordinator Elaine

Harriott.

"We're hoping everyone will come along in their best '70s gear for a great two nights with Boney M and the late-night discos."

Boney M were one of the most popular disco bands of the 1970s and '80s with classic dance tunes such as Sunny, Daddy Cool, Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring, and Rasputin.

Once Boney M finish their shows each night at Twin Towns a disco DJ will keep the night fever going in the adjoining Stars bar.

The hustle will start tonight and continue until Sunday with '70s cover band Boogielicious in Breezes Live. The band perform many of the hits of the era and dress in platforms, flairs and afros.

"It's going to be a great couple of nights," said Ms Harriott.
