Guitar and a song and a chance at fame
TWEED country and western singer and songwriter Brad Lee has stars in his eyes since making the finals of Tamworth's Starmaker Quest.
Brad got word yesterday he had made the top 20 finalists of the Starmaker Quest and said it was the breakthrough he had been waiting for.
"So many top names have established their careers by making it through the Starmaker finals ? Lee Kearnaghan, James Blundell and many more," he said.
Brad, 33, who works as a cabinetmaker at Twin Towns Services Club when not travelling on the country music
circuit, said making the finals was the biggest break of his career.
And joining him on his trip to Tamworth for the January 22 finals will be his two children Emma, 8, and Ashley, 4, who both play a supporting role in some of his performances.
"Emma sings and dances while Ashley strums along with his guitar," says Brad.
