Howzat? Family enjoy a day out

THEY are reluctant to admit it, but Peter Brebner and Greg Murphy are pretty generous blokes.

Through their business they donated 12 tickets to yesterday's West Indies versus Pakistan cricket match at the Gabba to the Royal Children's Hospital.

That generosity stretched to the family of Uki cancer sufferer Stacie Walker, who are with Stacie while she is being treated in hospital.

While Stacie couldn't take in the action, the tickets were put to good use by her dad Glenn Kennedy, brother Nik, grandfather Tom and cousin Christopher, who enjoyed the view from the corporate box.

The Kennedys will probably never meet the benefactors, but their generosity has been greatly appreciated.

''It was good, especially for Nik, to get away from it all,'' Glen Kennedy said, who is pictured (second from right) enjoying the day with the family.
