Looking forward to high challenge



TWEED River High School acting principal Narelle Howell has been appointed as principal, effective this term and is looking forward to the challenges of the school's top position.

Mrs Howell, who has been deputy principal at the school for three-and-a-half years and more recently acting principal, said she looked forward to achieving terrific things for the school.

"Our focus will be to enhance educational opportunities, provide a diverse curriculum and promote academic and sport programs while we continue to build on the programs and facilities already on offer at the school," she said.

"These include our academic, sport, dance, music, welfare and Aboriginal support programs.
