Mur-bah in fun mode

YOU could be forgiven for thinking that Murwillumbah has gone bananas, especially this week!

Con Varela Pharmacy staff (at back) Annette Viglione, Rebecca Mathews and Robyn Livesey and (in front) Catherine Nolan and Con Varela got behind the golden celebrations with their entry in the decorated window and premises competition.

The shop features gold decorations throughout the store, with the staff decked out in gold.

There are 25 entries for judges to visit from 2pm today (Wednesday). Winners will be published in Friday's edition of The Daily News.

And don't forget to make sure you get your copy of our special 50th anniversary souvenir liftout of the Tweed's own banana festival, only in this Saturday's Daily News.
