Nominate now for the BEX Awards

NOMINATIONS are now open for the Tweed Business Excellence Awards.

The annual awards, that recognise the successes of local businesses, were launched with a special event for sponsors at the South Tweed Sports Club last night.

Co-ordinator of the awards, Jenny Brunker, said the main awards were the "Gold Bex" for Tweed Business of the Year and the BEX Chairman's Award for business person of the year.

Categories for smaller and larger business, restaurants and cafes are also included.

Nominations for the BEX Awards close on May 22.

The Daily News is a sponsor of the awards, and nomination forms are available from its South Tweed office in Rivendell Street, or by visiting www.bexawards.com.au.
