TEENAGE allrounder Greg Brennan will make his A-grade debut for Pottsville in today's Gabba Sports Cup game against Runaway Bay at Murwillumbah's Les Cave Oval.
Brennan will join older brother Tom, a regular member of the Pottsville firsts team, in the side.
The younger Brennan replaces batsman Josh McQueen who has left to go overseas for a couple of months.
Pottsville recorded its first win of the season last week against Mudgeeraba-Nerang and is looking for back-to-back victories.
"We are coming off the back of a win and we need to consolidate our position," Pottsville captain Josh Singh said.
"We play Alberton in the next round so if we can win the next two we can nearly reach the top four going into the Christmas break."
Fellow Tweed side Cudgen will look for its third win in a row when it takes on Mudgeeraba-Nerang at Mudgeeraba today.
"We haven't ever played up there before," said captain Craig Wilson.
"They could be quite dangerous. They were finalists last year but they haven't won a game this season."
Cudgen will be without the experienced Ian Fraser, bringing in young player Jesse Norman who has been impressive in second grade with a 50 and 39 in his past two innings
Terranora is looking to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season last week to Palm Beach.
Terranora takes on Queens at Angove Park today.
Lee Baker comes into the side after some good performances with the ball in second grade, with Alex Rigby also coming in.
South Tweed Colts will be without captain Joel Walle (knee), for their game against Murwillumbah at Fraser Drive today.
Norm Silley will captain Colts in Walle's absence.
The match holds special significance with the two sides to play for the inaugural Peter Dawes Junior Memorial Trophy.
Dawes had strong connections to both clubs.
