Seniors enjoying special week



HUNDREDS of elderly Tweed residents are enjoying a range of activities and entertainment as part of this week's Tweed Shire Seniors' Week.

Activities today include: Murwillumbah Public School's concert at 10.30am; Lindisfarne Anglican School lunch at 12.30pm prepared for seniors by hospitality students; and the Salvation Army lifestyle variety concert, morning tea and film screening at the Salvos' centre behind the Banora Point Community Centre from 9.30am to noon.
