Top coaches team up for top-flight club

FORMER Tweed District Soccer coaching co-ordinator Steve Ramadan is the latest signing for the Murwillumbah Services Soccer club as it prepares for its return to the Gold Coast Soccer Premier League competition.

The club has taken a professional attitude to its return to the top flight, carefully assembling a strong team both on and off the paddock.

Murwillumbah Premier League coach John Bruggy said the signing of the experienced Ramadan this week completed what he believed would be a top coaching team for the club which won the right to return to Premier League with a strong result in first division in 2005.

Ramadan takes on the role as assistant coach, with Bruggy as head coach, Tiz Morosini in the reserve grade position and former Tweed mentor Peter Orr, (who has continued as Tweed women's second division coach), as skills coach.

Murwillumbah plays in the Gold Coast pre-season competition next month before kicking off its Premier League campaign against Surfers on April 8.
