Tree jewellery a branch of art
HAVE you ever thought that a tree might like to be adorned with beautiful jewellery?
Tree Jewellery is one of the fantastic new workshops for kids that will be held at the Tweed River Regional Gallery next week.
Kids are invited to come along and use their creative energy to make decorative pieces that will attract birds to the garden.
Workshop instructor Francesca Yasukawa said she was continually amazed at the creative ideas that children think of.
"I love being creative collaboratively with children. Their imaginations are just amazing. They always surprise me with the things they think of," she said.
The gallery will also launch it's new Kid's Club Tuesdays on January 17.
