Tweed ace back on top

A REVVED-up Mark Kuhnell has avenged his shock last-up loss to Tony Hall to return to the winner's circle.

Kuhnell, of West Tweed, roared to victory in Murwillumbah District Motorcross round three action at the showgrounds on Sunday.

The win moved Kuhnell, who had taken the chequered flag in every round of Open Class for the last five years before his loss to Hall in this year's second round, further ahead in the overall competition.

Unfortunately for Hall and the more than 200 specta- tors who were on hand to watch the much-anticipated battle, an early crash ended his chances of back-to-back wins.

He still finished fourth and moved up to 165 points in the overall competition, 45 points behind Kuhnell.
