TWEED Heads Primary School student Cohen Lockhart is set to represent NSW at the National Primary School Sports Association National Softball Titles in Brisbane next week.

The eleven-year-old, Year Six student flew to Sydney yesterday for a two-day camp.

He will fly with the rest of the team to Brisbane on Monday ahead of next week's titles. All of the team was originally due to fly back to Sydney after the titles but after negotiations by his parents, he will now drive back to the Tweed with his family.

It is the first time Cohen has made the national titles. He has excelled at both school and weekend softball this year and is in line for selection in the Tweed District Under 16 team.
