Tweed revved for final

By TANIA PHILLIPS

TWEED Casuarina Barbarians have stormed through to the grand final of the Northern Rivers Rugby Union Under 17 competition against Lismore at Casino tomorrow night at 8.30pm. The side caused a major upset, defeating strong minor premiers Lennox Head in a thriller 22-21 last Friday night. Tweed dominated the seesawing game early with their forwards continually retaining the ball in rucks. Centre Aaron Studdon scored early while just minutes later half-back Mitch Ridgeway chipped over the the top to set Rowan Robinson up for the second try.
