Tweed?s opulent coast resort
PUBLICLY-listed Australian developer Multiplex is to build what is being labelled as the Tweed Coast's most opulent apartment display - a $400,000 beachfront "experience centre" at its Cotton Beach residential resort at Casuarina.
Multiplex Developments will next week begin construction of the experience centre as the company moves into the first phase of development at its planned $350 million Cotton Beach project.
Multiplex development manager Toby Lewis said it was much more than a display or a sales office. "We will arouse the senses and give people a feel for how special Cotton Beach will be," he said.
Cotton Beach will be the centrepiece of the multi-award-winning Casuarina development a five-star low-rise residential resort village spreading over seven hectares of prime beachfront land, with more than 1 kilometre of beach frontage.
It will be the most exclusive beach enclave in northern NSW and among Australia's most prized international retreats, according to Multiplex, which has already lodged a development application with the NSW Government for the project's first stage, a $100 million prestige beachfront resort.
Marketing agent Tony O'Neill, of PRDnationwide, says marketing of the Cotton Beach resort will begin next year.
