Uki star tackles NZ?s best

UKI triathlete Bianca Bailey jetted out yesterday to represent NSW at the New Zealand Secondary School Championships.

Bailey, 15, picked up some last minute tips from her dad and coach, five-time Australian roller-skating champion Malcolm Bailey from Capalaba, at the Murwillumbah Pool recently.

A member of the Triathlon NSW talented athlete program last year, Bailey will represent her state at the championships, which will be held on Saturday, April 2.

"The competition in New Zealand should be fantastic as they are expecting hundreds of competitors and as New Zealand is a strong country for triathletes it should be really cool," Bailey, a Murwillumbah High School student, said.
